Main characteristics
The crane is electro-hydraulically driven
The basis of the crane is the pedestal, which is welded onto the vessel
The crane is fully revolving.
The operator cabin is located at the side of the jib and follows the slewing movement.
The winches for main hoist, aux. hoist and luffing are built into one common winch frame located inside the crane house
The pivot points of the main jib are based on the crane house
The jib is suspended from the crane top by means of the luffing tackle, which serves to vary the angle of the jib
The main hoist tackle can be reeved in 5, 7 or 9 falls (300t only in nine falls configuration)
The crane is equipped with one tugger winch
The crane is equipped with an auxiliary hoist tackle (30mt max.)
The crane has a tailswing of approximately 4.8m radius
An emergency diesel drive aggregate enables to operate the crane in case of a power failure
The aux. hoist is equipped with a constant tensioning control system
The crane is equipped with a remote support system
